This is just a short post today to recommend taking a look at Mark Stephens’ books and website. “Teaching Yoga” is now required reading for our yoga teacher training, and we will also be using Mark’s new book on Yoga Sequencing.

For those who will be doing the Maui training, it will be helpful to have read all or most of the Teaching Yoga before we start, and I would recommend getting the Yoga Sequencing book, too, though we will have at least one copy available at the retreat.

I also want to mention that we will have a lending library with some great yoga books at the training, too, so don’t feel you need to bring too many other books. [Side Note: I just sent a box media rate yesterday (was fairly inexpensive), should get to Maui in a few weeks I was told. No, I still haven’t gotten a Kindle, am a bit old-fashioned, but many people are finding the Kindle and similar e-readers so much more zen, plus of course, we’re saving a lot of trees by using them : ) ]
